Babaji: Kriya Mala

This kriya mala uses natural “pink” (a very light tint of mauve) tourmaline gemstones, large sparkling marker beads with a mauve lampwork guru bead and matching mauve tassel. Lampwork beads are handmade glass beads that are made by melting and shaping glass over a flame using a torch. These unique and artistic beads are known for their intricate designs and kaleidoscopic colors.

A kriya mala consists of 108 beads with marker beads every 12 beads. The marker beads are very different in size and type so they are easily recognized by touch to make counting more effective in the specific practices of the kriya yoga technique handed down to us by Babaji. Kriya yoga was reintroduced to the modern world by Lahiri Mahasaya, Sri Yukteswar and Paramahansa Yogananda.
