Singing Buddha: Pu-Tai Mala

This mala is made with wood beads, tiny bells and a laughing Buddha pendant for the guru bead.

The bells jingle and “sing” adding to the merriment of the laughing Buddha.

The Laughing Buddha is also known as Pu-Tai, a Chinese monk depicted as a bald man with a large belly and a laughing face. The Laughing Buddha is a popular symbol of good luck. Also called the Fat Buddha, it represents an abundance of what you could be dreaming of, such as wealth, happiness, or contentment. The smiling face of the Buddha is also a symbol of joy, fulfillment, and serenity.
