Nyingma: Tibetan Mala

This mala is named after the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. The Nyingma school was founded on the first lineages and translations of Buddhist scriptures from Sanskrit into Tibetan in the eighth century, during the reign of King Trisong Detsen.
