Ma’at: Cosmic Order Mala

This mala has light gray frosted agate beads and deep blue lapis lazuli beads with orange colored inclusions and an abstract Quan Yin guru bead with an orange sari silk tassel. For this mala she represents Ma’at.

In ancient Egypt, lapis lazuli, was highly valued, believed to be of divine origin and associated with the night sky, royalty, and immortality, used in amulets, jewelry, and cosmetics. Lapis lazuli was used to create amulets of the goddess Ma’at who personified justice, truth and proper world order. Ma'at wasn't just a goddess; it was also a fundamental concept representing the cosmic order and harmony. In ancient Egyptian mythology, Ma'at was crucial to the ancient Egyptian understanding of the cosmos and the afterlife.

Agate is the key to opening your mind up to an abundance of knowledge just waiting to be grounded and used towards one’s life path. The channel between ones third eye and crown chakra becomes strengthened when meditating with this stone, allowing one to process, transfer, and understand energy easier. Agate inspires new beginnings, growth, higher self. ~ Crystal Council
